purification of drinking water by solar energy? sounds crazy? yes, in today’s world where everyone is either heavily reliant on or desperately in need of water purification technology to live, sunlight can really do a lot of wonders.
one very effective way of harnessing solar energy to produce safe drinking water is by making a fibre box of 1 sq m or more in size and fit it with a scaled glass on top and then connect it to a water tap with a water level ball valve regulator fixed to it. also fix a output draining at the end of the bottom edge of the glass slope on the fibre box and then connect it to the kitchen or water collecting tank. as solar water distillation relies on the natural principles of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation, the water that gets collected in the tank is free from all mineral salts and microbes.
